About ecologic DIVERS
Ecologic Divers was formed by three divers who wanted to bring a unique experience to the dive community in Belize. After searching for the right area, Ambergris Caye was decided to be the perfect location.
The mission statement was simple:
"Let the diver have the very best time diving the water of the second largest reef."
We continue today to look for ways to make the diving experience in Belize one of the best in the world. Some people call it "diving Pampered style".
"Whats in a name"
Ecologic divers strives to be environmentally correct company by offering free dive instruction to the local high school students who participate in local clean up efforts sponsored by ecologic divers. Being a GREEN company doesn't always mean the color of our boats.
Dive Trips
We have over 50 dive sites accessible from our location. Our Instructors choose the sites to ensure you dive the absolute best sites available. We are open to requests from divers should you have read or heard of a site that you wish to dive, mention it to one of our divemasters during scheduling.
All the best sites are conveniently located no more than a 10 minute boat ride away from our base!
2-Tank Dives
Our regularly scheduled day dives are what we call a 2-Tank Dive. A 2-Tank Dive means we go out to the chosen site, complete our dive and head back to shore for our surface interval.
After refreshments and a short surface interval we head back out to the Belize barrier reef to a shallower site to complete our second dive of the day.
Night Dives
We specialize in our Night dives several times a week and can be scheduled any night with a minimum of 3 divers.
We conduct our night dives at Hol-Chan Marine Reserve which guarantees you sightings of huge Grouper, Lobsters, Stingrays, Morays and the occasional Shark visitor.
Early-Bird Dives
We are the only company offing a early morning dive, beginning at 7:30a.m.. This gets you back to the dock by 9:00a.m. to enjoy the rest of your day lounging on the beach or touring the local sights.

Meet the ecologic DIVERS
Our employees and owners come from all over the world. As one of the few dive companies in Belize, we have 5 instructors and 3 dive masters. Our instructors are PADI certified to teach all levels of recreational scuba diving.
Gilbert
Gilbert, has been leading land and water tours for over 20 years. His experience and knowledge of Belize is second to none. Growing up on Ambergris Caye has given him an special insight into what's going on in San Pedro.
Colin
Colin is the ecologic DIVERS videographer. He has been taking video for the last several years. Look for him on the dock with his camera in-hand.
Junior
Junior has been in the tourism industry for the past 7 years; a vibrant, young professional. He has, numerous times been named, on the top 5 best instructors of Ambergris Caye. His immense passion for the sea has leaded him to this profession. His ideal goal is to teach as many people to scuba dive and to make them aware of the riches that Belize has to offer.
He is a certified PADI MSDT. He is a Nitrox, EFR, and Specialty Instructor (under water photography, Deep Dive, Search and Recover, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, and Navigation)
He is a licensed Local Tour Guide and a certified Boat Captain.
Suyapa Sosa
A born and raised native to the island of Ambergris Caye, Suyapa has florished in the tourism industry for many years. She initially started working for a small dive shop as the sales clerk. She became certified in order to sell dive tours. With first-hand experience about the diving in Belize, she became hooked on scuba diving. She is now an accomplished and certified scuba Dive Master. She is one of the only two Belizean, female Dive Professionals in San Pedro. She is a certified PADI Dive Master and a licensed tour guide.
